There will be tea of coffee as usual in the Stanley Hall after the 9.30 Mass on Sunday morning. Our next children's liturgy will on Sunday May 11th during the 9.30 Mass: please bring your young children so that they may join in.
Although Fr Peter will be here each weekend he will be coming and going a little in the next few weeks to cover various teaching commitments. We are very grateful that Fr Chris will celebrate Mass as often as he can for us during the week.
This Sunday is a day of special prayer for Christian Communications. There is also a retiring collection for the Catholic Media Services; please collect an envelope from the back of church.

Some parishioners still pray the Rosary after morning Mass.
PADRE PIO GROUP
There will be a Padre Pio meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
CATHOLIC CHILDREN'S SOCIETY
The Diocesan Children's Society has written to ask us to find a new Box Agent for the parish. The job is not very onerous, and it would be a great help if someone would be prepared to volunteer. Please have a word with Fr Peter.
PLEASE PRAY FOR Sue Daly, Fr Jack, Barbara Jones, Jenny Stillings, Lorna Welch, Hannah Davies, & Mrs Carrigan. Also those who are sick, our housebound, others who have died recently as well as those whose anniversaries occur at this time.
150 CLUB
Details of the March draw are on the notice board.
Fr Peter acknowledges with thanks the recent cheque for £580 which will be put in parish funds.
The annual subscription (£12) for membership of the 150 Club was due for renewal on April 1st. Some brown envelopes can be found at the back of church; payment can be made in cash or cheques can be made payable to St Mary's Fund Raising Account. If you have not joined up already there are membership forms for parishioners who would like to support this important initiative.
SUE DALY
Please remember Sue in your prayers. She is in hospital and really quite ill at the moment.
LOCAL PASTORAL AREA
The Local Pastoral Area Team is meeting at Our Lady's on Wednesday May 7th at 7.30. Could parish representatives please try to attend.
